Cathy Hillman, LPC

Cathy Hillman joined Heritage Health in 2025 and currently works as a counselor for Recovery Services. Cathy is new to the field of counseling after spending many years as a registered nurse. She entered the field of counseling to help address the great need that currently exists in the field of mental health and addiction recovery.

 

Cathy specializes in supporting people hard at work in their recovery from addiction. She loves helping people identify their unique strengths and believes every individual has inherent worth, deserving of dignity and value. Her goal as a counselor is to provide a compassionate confidential space where clients feel heard, understood and supported. 

 

Cathy has lived in the area for over 30 years and considers herself a native Idahoan. She loves Jesus and loves to hike and camp with her family which includes her husband of 35 years, 4 grown children, their spouses and 6 grandchildren (and counting!). 

 

Cathy earned a double Bachelor’s in Biology and Nursing Sciences from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. 

 

A fun fact about Cathy is that she loves raising and interacting with her chickens.
