Nic Lohstrohl, LCSW

Nic joined Heritage Health in 2024 and currently works as a counselor. Nic has 5 years working in mental health and went into mental health counseling because he saw the benefits that mental health interventions can have on someone’s overall quality of life and noticed a lack of services available to people.


Nic specializes in helping people with a wide variety of conditions including psychotic disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, depression and developmental disabilities, and loves working with patients because he has a passion for providing high quality care tailored to the individuals he works with and seeing people build a life worth living.


Originally from Spokane, Nic loves hiking, bouldering, kayaking, watching sports, spending time with his kids and going on adventures exploring the regions natural beauty.


Nic earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lewis-Clark State College in Social Work in 2018 and a Master’s degree from Boise State University for Social Work in 2019.


A fun fact about Nic is he was runner up in two cutest baby contests including the 1992 Spokesman Review contest and 1992 Diaper Olympics.
