Melinda Soltys, LCSW
Supervisor of Community Based Services
Melinda Soltys joined Heritage Health in 2017 after interning here for two years and currently works as a Mental Health Therapist and Supervisor for the community-based team.
Melinda has been working in the mental health field for over nine years and as a therapist for over five years. She went into the field to follow her passion of helping others who experience mental health difficulties. Â
Melinda works with children, teens, families, couples, and facilitates two therapy groups. She enjoys working with a variety of presenting concerns and diagnoses with emphasis on trauma-informed care and working with marginalized populations.
She was born and raised in North Idaho and loves spending time with family and friends, painting, gardening, and cooking. Melinda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Idaho in 2013, a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boise State University in 2017, and her Clinical License in Social Work in 2020.
A fun fact about Melinda is that she never has a set a timer when she cooks and can always smell exactly when something is ready. Â
