Amanda Olson, LCSW

Amanda Olson joined Heritage Health in 2018 and currently works as a Mental Health Therapist in Kellogg’s Mountain Health Clinic. Amanda has over 10 years of experience working in the helping field. Amanda became a social worker because she has a passion to serve her community and enjoys helping teens and adults overcome the impacts of childhood trauma.
Amanda specializes in helping people with trauma histories and has found success using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other trauma informed modalities to support her clients in finding healing.
Originally from the Silver Valley, Amanda loves spending time outdoors with family and pets, attending a local book club, and laughing hard with good friends.
Amanda earned her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Idaho in Child Development and Family Relations in 2011 and a Master’s degree from Boise State University for Social Work in 2018. Amanda earned her Clinical Social Work License in 2021.
A fun fact about Amanda is that she enjoys bike touring and travel. Once she even biked and hitchhiked around the United States for 70 days.
