Annie Owen

Annie Owen joined Heritage Health in 2023 and currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Annie began her nursing career 13 years ago primarily in ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals focusing on perioperative services and dermatology. She chose to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner because she is invested in the care and treatment of those whom she can serve. Annie not only wants to make a difference in her patients’ lives, but also wants to help them achieve their goals. 

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Annie has been trained to treat the whole family, from infancy to the elderly. She is passionate about patient centered care and empowering patients to make positive lifestyle changes to better their overall quality of life. 

Annie earned her Associate degree of Nursing from North Idaho College in 2010 and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Lewis-Clark State College. She achieved her Master’s degree from Purdue University Global in Nursing in 2023 and is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. 

Outside of work Annie enjoys spending time with her husband and exploring the natural beauty of North Idaho.
