In this episode of Community Health Radio we talk to award winning author Jill Vanderwood. After hearing about one of her grandchildren being bullied in school, Jill took that experience and combined it with her own childhood experiences of being bullied to create a new manifesto on how to erase bullying.
In our interview, Jill tells her very personal story of being bullied as a child and how it affected her life growing up. She also talks about the different forms of bullying and how to distinguish true bullying behavior from the normal playing and teasing kids naturally engage in.
Host William Eisenbrandt also provides commentary on the state of bullying and how parents can help their kids deal with a bully.
