The biggest reason we do events is to raise awareness in the communities we serve about our mission. Access to quality healthcare is something we can't compromise on. It's also a great way for us to continue spreading the inspirational story of our founder, Lidwina Dirne. The other reason we put on these events is to raise money to help us continue to provide discounted services to families in need. In 2016, Heritage Health is projected to provide over $5 Million in discounted medical services to families in Kootenai and Shoshone County.
We are always looking for businesses and individuals who are willing to help sponsor our annual events. Without the support of our sponsors, many of these events would never get past the planning stage. In 2019, we project we'll need close to 50 volunteers to help make our events successful.
